Some people are what I call Magicians. Read on to find out if you might be one.
Why Conventional Descriptions of Soul Purpose Fall Short
Most people who come to me feel they are lightworkers—here to serve the world in some way. But many are unsure how, exactly.
One reason? We lack precise language to describe the different kinds of energies people carry and the specific ways they impact the world simply by being themselves.
We use broad terms like coach, counsellor, healer, social worker. But these labels don’t capture the unique transformation each individual brings.
One coach might provide emotional support that allows a client to soar.
Another might excel at mapping out clear action steps.
Yet another might catalyze perspective shifts that unlock new life directions.
Generic descriptors don’t help you explain what you truly embody—the energy others instantly feel when they work with you.
That’s why I want to offer a new term: The Magician.
It's Magic!
In the book King, Warrior, Magician, Lover, Robert Moore and Douglas Gillette describe the Magician as a keeper of secret knowledge—one who channels power by understanding the dynamics of nature, society, and the unconscious.
All very dramatic. But let’s bring this down to earth. In daily life, people already use the word magic:
“She does magic with food!”
“The bathroom pipes are fixed—what magic!”
“What magic did you do to move that project forward?”
In practice, a Magician is someone who instinctively knows the exact combination of ingredients needed to make something work—and has the ability to bring them together.
They make things happen where others couldn’t. And because no one else knew how, it’s called “magic.”

Varieties of Magicians
Magicians differ depending on the energies and elements they most instinctively work with.
Plant Magician – Combines herbs, spices, and plants to bring emotional healing and balance.
Rose Magician – Works with the wisdom and energy of roses to heal the heart, nurture self-love, or deepen esoteric connection.
Tangram Magician – Uses the pieces of a tangram to arrange energies for deep soul-level shifts.
And that’s only the beginning. There are wood magicians, food magicians, Hebrew letter magicians—the list is endless.
Not all Magicians work with esoteric energies. Many weave their magic in everyday, practical life.
Organizational Magician – Knows how to structure departments and systems so an organization thrives.
Human Resource Magician – Instinctively assembles the right mix of people to form a functional, high-performing team.
Troubleshooting Magician – Spots gaps and reshapes processes to fix problems effectively.
These Magicians are just as essential as their mystical counterparts—they bring magic into the 3D world of business, leadership, and community.
Think about it:
Do you have areas of life where you always manage to “make things work”?
Do others look at what you do and call it magic?
Do you know, deep down, that you can make something succeed—even if you don’t yet know exactly how?
If yes, you may be a Magician.
Magicians expand our understanding of soul purpose. They remind us that lightwork isn’t limited to one role or domain—it can take countless forms, from energy healing to team building.
So—are you a Magician? And if so, how will you use your magic in the world?
